- tourism degrees are based at Queens Park campus, on the south side of Chester. It's quite a nice (but small) campus, only 20 mins or so walk from Parkgate Road (the main campus).
- most accommodation is either on main site or near it. However, it's not that far to walk across the city. Unfortunately I can't tell you what accommodation is like, as it's been a while since I had uni accommodation. Just remember to think about whether you want self, part or fully catered.
- seeing as it's a small city, with most of the university based so close to the city centre, you can have the campus uni life and city uni life all in one.
- there aren't many clubs in Chester (lots of pubs and cafes though!) so if you want night life, Liverpool and Manchester are better - but it's easy to get the train there.

I hope someone can get back to you on what the tourism department is like.

Hi there, The Uni offers accommodation that can be applied for through their own team. If you go to their website they have videos of the accommodation they offer onsite.
The uni also refer to us at Tudor Place for anyone wanting to stay with us. We are based 5 minutes from Parkgate and about 15 minute walk to Queens. If you would like to come along to view please email [email protected] to book a viewing appointment and we will be happy to show you our brand new rooms and facilities. We also have a video tour available: https://www.facebook.com/pg/TudorPlaceChester/videos and our own website at: https://freshstudentliving.co.uk/property/tudor-place/

Hello Sophie, I study tourism at Chester as well. I love it, its a great course, really fun, we went to London for a study trip in the first year. The tutors are so nice. The campus is really nice as well. You would probably be staying in parkgate and the accommodation is great but its not a far walk.

You will love it, great nights out, amazing atmosphere.
