UCAS updating *incredibly* slow

This could be one of two problems..

1. UCAS does not update its offers section as frequently as it claims

2. My universities have not contacted UCAS with regards to my offers (you know what I mean)

I have two offers, with the first one coming last week, yet nothing is shown up on UCAS as of yet!

How sucky is that. I'm sure you all have the same problems though? My girlfriend got rejected by Oxford about 3 weeks ago and hers still hasn't been updated!

With regards to 1, are you saying that noone got offers during that period?...as I know people who have offers (through ucas) pretty much everyday.

Same thing happened to me. I got a letter from warwick saying that they have made their decision and I will be informed by ucas. The letter was written on 15th November. I still havnt heard anything from UCAS.

it's normally the universites being slow at notifying UCAS. I got an offer from St Andrews but didn't hear from UCAS for near a month.
Then other universites are very quick at notifying UCAS, it all depends.

No, it was only an option. I did not know which one was correct, although I did presume that option 2 was probably the correct one..

I got my cambridge offer on New Year's Eve last year. It wasn't up on UCAS until April. I called up the admissions office and they said that they wait til they get everyone's offers sorted out and then send the whole lot off in a batch. Obviously most other unis don't do it that way, but they could just be trying to save on labour or stamps or whatever by waiting a while to tell UCAS. whichever way, you still have an offer, and they have until May to make the decision known to UCAS anyway.
