Can I become an English teacher with a classics degree?

I'm still technically a GCSE student but due to the circumstances, I won't be able to take them. For my A-levels, I have picked English Literature, Government and Politics and Sociology. But I'm wondering if I can become an English teacher with just a classics degree? Or should I think about a dual bachelors?

Yes you can, but if that is your aim, then why not study it at degree level?
Normally they ask for a 50% match to the subject you intend to teach but you can use an A level and some additional training.
