Explain how changes to the velocity of a river impact the river process of transportation, deposition, and erosion.

The deposition and erosion part could be best tackled referring to a meander bend.
Erosion occurs on the outside of a meander as velocity is at its highest. The main erosional processes here are hydraulic action and abrasion. On the inside, deposition takes place as velocity is slow and the river does not have the energy to transport material resulting in the formation of a slip off slope.
In terms of transportation, when a river has high velocity it is able to transport material through the processes of traction and saltation. When st a lower velocity it is only able to transport its load in suspension.
There you go, that’s pretty much done.
