Question about PwC Flying Start Degree Apprenticeship Salary

Scroll to see replies

Hey, I’m a PwC audit apprentice (started in September). I applied to both that and the flying start one but preferred the apprenticeship program. If you have any questions about the process, ICAEW exams or what it’s like to work there etc feel free to PM me or just respond to this message. And good luck!

Hi,
When it comes to the assessment centre what's the best way to prepare and make sure that you have the highest chance of succeeding? The assessment centres a virtual one for me as I am applying for the Computer Science technology degree apprenticeship 2022.

Hi I was wondering if you could tell me how much you get paid in your apprenticeship??
I am applying for an apprenticeship this year and one question I am worried for in interviews is the salary expectation one.

Bro it's an error I got the same exact email. You'll get an email from them shortly saying you haven't been rejected.

Yh that was what I was thinking a lot of ppl have been getting rejected then being told it was system error, try checking your workday account status and see what it says there. I contacted the email given and was told that a decision will be made after the 11th of February.

Yes I think so , that’s what happened a glitch , pwc is very hard to be honest it’s good for long term because it helps you get ACA however you still have to pay for uni , as for other degree apprenticeship you don’t have to , it’s not really a apprenticeship I would say because it’s just only 1 term when you work , and also I have applied to 4 unis which I received offers

Yup - its not a degree apprenticeship (for the accounting scheme). Looks really good though and I dont think PWC advertise it as a degree apprenticeship?

Hello guys I have a question about the flying start programme, in which in have recently got offered on the flying start accountancy programme at uni of reading. However, I was talking to a friend of mine who applied for the same position at the university of Manchester, and he said that we have the option to choose what office we do our placements in ( e.g. reading office, Manchester office, etc). I was wondering whether this is actually true for all university offers or is it only for the university of Manchester? Any help would be appreciated.

He also stated that PwC would pay for accommodation if working in office away from uni, such as me doing my placement in Manchester office as a University of reading student. Can anyone confirm this?
