Hello- I would like to do an EPQ either this year or next year. I'm looking at studying English at Cambridge (hopefully) so want to do my EPQ based on English literature. My idea is to either write about whether Modernist Literature had a purpose, or if the Modernism literary movement ever really ended (for this one I was thinking about comparing classic modernist works- Mrs Dalloway, the Waste Lands and maybe one more- with recently published novels such as Saturday by Ian McEwan and Ducks,Newburyport by Lucy Ellmann, and seeing if modernism in literature is still present/important). Are these appropriate topics for an EPQ or if not does anyone have any other suggestions about a good topic for my EPQ? Thankyou...

I think they are appropriate as long as they dont overlap with the content you learn at A levels and tbh its well thought out
