how i wish i got all 9s but i already know i'm getting 4s or 3s maybe if im lucky 5s
because i missed my mock exams because my family booked tickets to go abroad without asking me first.

oh what I meant to say was that ive already gotten results for English lit and lang as I did them early ☺️

English language:8/9(Most likely 8)
English literature:6(Wanted a 7)
Maths: i did in year 10 and got a 7
Chemistry:7/8(Most likely 8)
Physics:8/9(Most likely 8)
Biology:8/9(Most likely a 9)
History:8/9(Want a 9 but will most likely get an 8)
Geography:8/9(Want a 9 but most likely get an 8)
Computer science:6(Wanted a 7)
French:4(Wanted a 5)
Further Maths:d(Wanted a B)
These predictions are slightly disappointing because for things like Computer scienceabd English Literature, i could of got 7's of I had a bit more time. Also things like French, i was so close to getting a 5 in my March Mocks and we only had one Mock for Further Maths an Di was 1 mark from a C. I just hope that for Geography, History, English language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics I can get a 9.

THank you. I appreciate the support. No, I definitely agree. GCSEs are a stepping stone for the next stage of your life so getting what you need for the next stage is necessary.

Physics: 8 (hopefully because ive been getting 7 constantly through yr 10 and 11)
English lit: 6 (even though i got 7 in the yr 11 mock, i usually get 5's lol so ik i wont get 7)
English lang: 5/6 (never got higher than a 5 so im expecting a 5 :frown:

6 if im rlly lucky)
RE: 7 (7 in yr 11 mocks and been getting nearly 7s in assignment all year)
Sociology: 5/6 (got 5 in mock, but 7+ on assignment, so hoepfully i get a 6)

afaik English language is more important than lit and they usually want a 6 in it at least so i think u might be good

its a bit weird for me to see ppl predicting themselves 9s, bc i was someone who by results day was so convinced id done badly that i was hoping just to make it into 6th form. I found out my mum had been diagnosed with cancer about 2 weeks before the exams, so I felt kinda off my game academically-speaking

any ways I think its better to go in with low expectations, because then you won't be disappointed- I was expecting to pass all 10 of my GCSEs and do well in my additional maths FSMQ but I didn't think i would do as well as i did: 10 9s and the top grade in add maths (A), smt only like 850 ppl in the uk did in 2019

I think it might be a bit foolhardy to predict urself getting all nines tho, bc if you don't (and still get a vvv good set of gcses) you might end up being disappointed by a perfectly good result.

I guess because we didnt do the exams we don't have the same feeling of if an exam has gone well or not that other year groups have, so all people have to guess off are teachers (pretty optimistic sometimes) predicted grades

I'm just hoping for the best but planning for the worst, just got to wait and see what happens now, but yeah completely agree, no one knows what will happen this year, so I guess to some extent we should try and go into results day with an open mind, but there's no harm in trying to be a bit positive about it beforehand

This. Hence why I’m going to wait till I acc have my results to talk about my predictions and stuff. Saying that, If I don’t get a 9 in physics something must’ve went wrong lol
