Maths: 9 (did this last year)
Further maths: 9 (fingers crossed! My school hasn’t done this before so hopefully my maths grade is used as a justification, not sure how it works tho :/)
Bio: 9
Chem: 9
Phys: 9
Spanish: 9
History: 9
Dance: 9
English Lang: 9
English lit: 8/9 (over the last 5 sets of mocks I went 98979, but I’ve hit 26 marks in every single aspect of the course, and was on 25 in poetry but managed to bump that up 8 marks from January to March, so I hope progress is considered!)
You guys all sound amazingly smart, I can’t wait to hear how you guys have done!!

i feel like everyone should go get their results with low expectations which means you won't feel bad and let down about it...
for example- some people are predicting themselves 9s and 8s but when you go get you're results and get a 6 you will feel like you could have done better
whereas my mindset rn is "i'm gonna get 4 or 5s and hopefully i pass " so that if i maybe get a 6 i'll be like yessssss i got higher and i'll feel good about it.
KEEP YOU'RE EXPECTATIONS LOW PPL! UNLESS YOU'RE RLLY CLEVER AND UNLESS YOU KNOW YOU FVCKED UP LOL
good luck x

I think this is a bad mindset to have. I have worked very hard last year so if I didn’t get mostly 9s then I would, rightfully so imho, be upset and there’s nothing wrong w that. Also manifestation

That doesn’t make much sense for me at least. Say I’ve been working at grade 8/9 all year and I turn up and get 6 ofc imma feel like I could’ve gotten a higher grade

Yeah i understand lmao. I literally said at the end if you are expected a higher grade and a working on that level ignore my comment because there is NO WAY they're gonna give you a 6 if you're working at a higher grade.
good luck anyways tho x

why is everyone forgetting what i wrote in BOLD at the end...
IF YOU ARE CLEVER AND YOU'RE PREDICTED GRADES ARE RLLY GOOD YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT SIS
that was for those people that are putting a lot of FALSE HOPE when they already know they have **** predicted grades
good luck x

Imma put the grades I want, which are the ones I got in my mocks (except french and english lit - I never got my mock results back for them, and DT - the NEA would've had some influence on our predicted grade, and I have no idea in the slightest what grade it was at).

English lit - 7
English lang - 8
Maths - 9
Further Maths - 9
Biology - 9
Chemistry - 9
Physics - 9
French - 5
Computer Science - 9
DT - 7

Now here are the grades I think I'm going to get (most of them are gonna be moved down but what can you do?). I originally hoped that they would be higher, but then I found a thing on the gov.uk website that allows you to see how many people got each grade for every subject at your school in previous years, and yeah, I'm fully expecting my results to be sh*t in comparison to what I want now :frown:

English lit - 4
English lang - 6
Maths - 9
Further maths - not a clue - it was meant to be a new spec for this year, and I have no idea how my school has performed in the past for it. Would like a 9 but probably won't get anywhere near that.
Biology - 7
Chemistry - 7
Physics - 7
French - 3
Computer science - 9
DT - 4

Here's mine, who knows what they will actually be!!!
Maths- 9
Stats- 8/9
Further maths- 7/8
Biology- 9
Chemistry- 9
Physics- 8/9
English lit- 9
English lang- 9
Art- 9
History- 9
French-9
Health and social care- L2D (already done the exam)
Thats what I think I will get if its done fairly but who knows, my school has really varying results each year so im a bit worried that they might adjust them because of that but i hope not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good luck everybody and whatever your results are then at least we had two less months sat in an exam hall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.english lit- 7
.history-7/8
.Re- 9
.biology- 8
.chemistry- 7
.physics- 7
.english Lang( I did early)- 7
If all doesn’t go well for me...:
*maths- 5
*english lit- 6
*english Lang- 7
*french- 5
*Re- 8
*biology- 7
*physics- 6
*chemistry- 6
*history- 7
Honestly, I’m kinda scared because I’ve been working my ass off both in and out of school. We all don’t want to feel as if all our hard work and progress was all for nothing. For grades that don’t reflect how well we could have done and what our grades show through it’s trajectory. I wanna go to do medicine in uni( I know I need a higher grade in maths, I was gonna re-take).

Yeah. Some of my teachers don't like me though because I correct them when their wrong so hopefully that won't impact anything 😂

they're...😂

The fact that almost everyone on this thread thinks they’re going to get straight A*s is exactly why I’m expecting the worst for my results. Sorry guys, but I highly doubt most of us can actually receive that high in the current circumstances.

Good luck to everyone anyway.
