I just hope I get good enough grades to get admission into a med school because some do factor in GCSE grades

I'm sure you will! What grades do you think you'll get?

Hi, I'm so sorry that you think it's wierd or if I have confused you. I'll try and explain the process
My school has an advanced class which I'm a part of and we start our GCSES in year 8 (just my class) so we were meant to do all of our exams this year but we're not doing them now and our teacher is saying it's most likely we'll be doing them next year but we'll be getting teacher Assesed grades too. Thats why I'm so worried about the exams next year because those will probably be the ones that I'm going to write on my CV as they will honestly reflect my ability. If you have any questions, then please ask. So sorry I confused you.

Oh, now I feel rude sorry. That makes sense, but what were you planning on doing after finishing your GCSEs this year? Would you go straight to college or something. And what's the point in having exams next year, aren't the teacher assessed ones basically the real thing?

Sorry for so many questions, I've just never heard of this before.

Hi, no it's okay, I should've explained it first. So basically, we would have started some A Level context and we would do the exams in year 12. Then in year 13 we would do work experience for a year. Our teachers want us to sit exams, so they said we will be doing the GCSE exams next year. But because we've already finished the GCSE content we'll still be practicing some A Level content. I don't think many schools do this because whenever I tell someone their always full of questions too.
