Queen Mary location

Does any one that either has been to Queen Mary or looked around on an open day (I never got the chance) know whether the area is as rough as people can say that it is. Just kind of wondering what impression people got from the accommodation village as well as the area surrounding it.Cheers

Ok. I’m a student there. The campus is nice and quiet, definitely more of a campus feel than a city feel. The surrounding area isn’t the most interesting but it’s close to a train station and the local stops are all good.

awesome thanks. did you ever feel unsafe there? I literally live in a tiny village with about 200 people in it so moving to London is a big change for me haha, especially as I never got to have a feel for the area.
