A level revising as you go along ?

I have seen many tips for how to revise and do well for a levels which include revising early/ revising as you learn and go along. I am unsure how to actually do this though and what this consists of

There’s many techniques and some suit some more than other people. for me, I make flashcards as I go along. The main thing for A levels is to make the notes as you go along and whatever revision source you like (mind maps, cards, paper notes) all ready so when you get to revision time, you go straight into revising and not making notes.
