I'll be studying optometry in a few months and I was wondering what I should revise before I go to university since I haven't done maths or physics since GCSE (I got a 6 (B) in maths and 7 (A) in physics) and what should I revise in terms of A level biology.
If there are any book recommendations I can read to help me before or during the course that would be great!

Also is the maths/physics in optometry difficult as I've had varying opinions (obviously it's subjective depending on how good you are at the subjects but for a person that's average in these subjects, what do you think?)

Honestly I'd just have a bit of a relaxed look at the eye and all the tissues that surround it. There's no need to prepare much more than that - if they want you to do preparatory work they'll send it to you. Don't worry too much about knowing everything when you start - pace yourself! It's a marathon, not a sprint, especially if the degree is longer than three years.
