Believe it or not, the average is ABB. No joke. No wonder people say A Levels are getting easier!
Hmm, that is high, but bear in mind that some 'less able' people don't do A-levels but still apply to University courses. I'm thinking vocational students.

Bloomin 'eck... the average at my school this year was around DDD, seriously.

I'm guessing that average is dragged up a hell of a lot by selective private schools.

    Leeds! wahey
    Yeah!

Reading is actually a very good and well respected University, I think it's geographical location is what lets it down.

    Hmmm.

Well, I'm definitely average when it comes to grades. Most are Bs and Cs. Usually because I don't put enough effort into it. <_<

I'm not looking to go into a top-ranked university, obviously, just somewhere decent enough. My mind is set on Keele and Loughborough, and maybe some others, which are decent, and not too far from where I live, especially Keele. Their entrance requirements aren't too high, but their standards are good.
Look at the university rankings, and you should have good chances at decent universities from 15-50.
The other local uni is Staffordshire, which is too crowded, and in one of the busiest areas. No thanks. Probably overrun with chavs too.

With BCD, you may struggle to get into most places for English - it's a very competitive course :sadnod:
