    I'm not the OP but you use a long exposure (or rather, slow shutter speed) So set it to about 3 to 5 seconds and it will capture any movement of the light while the shutter is open. If you're using a little point an shoot camera and can't set the shutter speed, the exposure time in the dark with the flash off may be long enough to capture a picture like the one posted anyway. I did a couple with fairy lights a while back, just for a bit of fun:

    Yes! Love scuba diving, these were taken on a liveboard trip in the red sea 2010. Hopefully as I'm on a gap year now I can get lots more diving done (once I've saved up enough!) My next destination is hopefully st. lucia!

    Awesome!! That sounds pretty awesome tbh! .. I'm just waiting to do my final 2 open water dives! lol I can't wait to get out into the openwater! lol.. I will hopefully be doing some coral reef conservation out in Israel eventually! ... St Lucia sounds awesome.
