Just 3 I took recently in the Arctic. Couldn't be bothered to look through ALL my photos haha

The second one is lovely. I love the contrast between the light sky and the dark mountains. Would make an excellent wallpaper:yep:

Ewan, I personally think the first crop works best. I think it gives him a little more personality :yep: Although the guy at the side of the picture is a little annoying

I posted this a few days ago in the photography thread, can I ask what people think?

    Original Moonrise

Then with subsequent work in Photoshop got these two

Altered the colour of the foreground trees to get rid of the streetlights

Increased black levels to nearly 100%

I really like the last one, something about the colour of the sky looks really good

and I also have this one as an extra
    manchester Lights
The first 3 are beautiful
How did you get those effects?

This is the Meta Data for the original one and then for the second one and third one I played around with the colour sliders when I put them into photoshop. As I shoot in .RAW it makes quite easy to do. For the second one I was messing about with the greens and yellows to try and get rid of the orange glow of the streetlights on the trees then for the third one I increased darkness levels up to 100% and that just left the silouette of the trees and then the sky
