I like that, there's something about the cropping that makes it seem a little strange :/ It has been cropped right?

I've changed my mind about my favourite

I'm sure people wouldn't mind C&C (I don't) but then again, I think it's more showing off

A good subject, but really the lighting is too harsh to work nicely here and its always nice to have some catch light in the eye (could have been pumped in with a bit of flash). Also your subject is facing out the frame which generally serves to lead your eye straight out the picture as you follow the way they're facing, so just a bit more room on the right.

Your eyes tend to be drawn to the lightest part of the photo, which unfortunately in this case is her forearm which leads you right out the frame! Basically I think a bit too much space at the bottom and her arm is a bit too bright.

A mixture of both. People are naturally proud of their pics, so want to show them off; but at the same time, like me they wouldn't mind getting comments about them as well, whether critical or positive. So long as it's helpful criticism, anyway, not just stuff like 'that's a rubbish pic' or 'that's a from an awful angle' or 'what did you take a picture of that for, it's really boring'. (Not saying that you'd do that; I'm just saying in general.)

Fair enough, I guess I could fix that on photoshop if I could be bothered! Cheers

Some of my favourites from my recent trip to South America
    [SPOILER]
    2. Nice reflection shot - horizon is in the middle but doesnt matter so much when going for symmetry. Might have been tempted to move to the right a bit to try and get the mountain tip included in the reflection in the clear area of water.

    3. You've captured a nice moment here but you've framed the subject too far to the right. We could have done with losing the left side (with the blue arm) - giving more space on the right, infront of the subject. Also the lighting here was obviously very very harsh and some areas seem oversaturated.

    4. give it a bit more space top left? evening light would have of course been more flattering.

6+7 just feel a bit cluttered to me.
