There is an element of choice in that you rank sets of rotations (e.g. one set might be acute medicine, orthopaedics, psychiatry) and they try to assign you to your highest preference based on your FPAS score.
You can't design your own bespoke Foundation Programme unfortunately.
Whilst a system which prioritised the rotations you wanted to do whilst staying within required rules would be relatively easy to make, this is the NHS, so they aren't capable of that. Instead you just rank sets of rotations. Its likely you'll have at least one or two you really don't want to do, but hopefully some of interest too.
