The most sad thing I found out was that for an A* in Maths Edexcel this year, you need to get 65%! Seriously, watch for the second time and look closely on the exam sheet.


85% You must have misread.

Well, according to this, you should have gotten an A* [depending on what you got for coursework]

Thanks for that link. My coursework let me down as I got 98, which meant my UMS came to 535 :frown:

Edexcel's IGCSE maths A grade boundary was 64%, but that's because IGCSE is harder than the regular GCSE, which could explain the difference in grades?

I didn't. I watched it about 5 times and it clearly says 65%.
At least we know there's a reason they're on the radio!

just remember that what the video doesn't say is that these wern't the exams you took. Rather to get around the legalities of taking a GCSE formally, they took the November 2007 papers, which may also explain the grade boundary differences.
