What is the difference between the two. For example the difference between economics and finance and economics and accounting?
So economics is largely the academic study of the economy- it's fairly closely related to politics in many ways.
Finance and accounting will both perhaps be more applied than economics, but finance focuses more on financial strategy (planning and analysis)/wealth management/creating and managing capital.
Whereas accounting focuses on recording, maintaining and reporting financial records- it's a more technical and less strategic role.
