...Cambridge and Oxford aren't in London

Plus, I think the London unis are all technically colleges of the University of London (except Imperial), so they're already merged

Imperial + UCL = London Imperial College

UCL + LSE= UCL

LSE + Imperial= imperial college of technology & economics

LSE + Oxford= Oxford

LSE + Durham= na

LSE + Cambridge= Cambridge

Imperial + Oxford = Oxford (imperial school of technology)

Imperial + Cambridge = Cambridge (imperial technology school)

LBS + Imperial= imperial (and LBS would become a faculty name)

LBS + LSE=London school of business & economics

LBS + LSE=

LSE + Kings= kings (London school economics as a faculty)

Imperial + Kings= Imperial college (Kings would become a campus specialising in arts/humanities/social science)

UCL + Kings= UCL (Kings would be retained as a school or faculty name)

UCL + Oxford= Oxford (UCL would become London college)

UCL + Cambridge= Cambridge (with London college)

Obviously just a bit of fun don’t read into my answers
You know what you just did? You effectively suggested the brand you think is better or should we say prestigious. I love it!

Well yes, I loosely went with the more prestige institute. I tried picking what I think they theoretically could do. It was only a bit of fun, but if unis were to merge you would imagine they would look for best brand value.

Tbh anything merging with Oxford or Cambridge becomes a college and is shipped off to their respective city in my scenarios.

Also, I wouldn't call either a London uni!

Imperial + UCL = This is never going to happen

UCL + LSE= UCL (John Locke Institute of the Political Sciences and the Thomas Sowell Institute of Economics)

LSE + Imperial= This is also never going to happen.

LSE + Oxford= University of Oxford (Sidney Webb College)

LSE + Durham= This also makes no sense.

LSE + Cambridge= University of Cambridge (Beatrice Webb College)

Imperial + Oxford = University of Oxford ( Hyde Park College)

Imperial + Cambridge = University of Cambridge (Hyde Park College)

LBS + Imperial= Imperial College London (Sir Richard Branson Business School)

LBS + LSE= London Academy of Business and Economics

LSE + Kings= Dunno.

Imperial + Kings= Imperial College London

UCL + Kings= Queen's College London (QCL)

UCL + Oxford= University of Oxford - St. Pancras College

UCL + Cambridge= University of Cambridge. - St. Pancras College
