    I think that:

    1) No one here can really tell you what the diagnosis is.

    2) You need to go see your doctor so that they can help you resolve this issue

    3) Using a tampon would be a bad idea-

Hope that helps and sums up my opinion and advice.

And that is b/c you had probably just started having your periods, right?

Hence, irregular periods are normal at the beginning and usually normalize within the first 2 years or so

basicalllyyy i was asking these questions just to get you thinking what you should say to the doctor and obviously i cant make a diagnosis

but i dont think it sounds like a period to me ( i could be totally wrong!) so seeing the doctor very soon is a good idea, just be aware of any other changes with the 'period' and within your body.

and yes dont use a tampon go and buy some pads and drink loads of water.

I am a medical student as well. You know, before you suggest amenorrhoea as being a clinical symptom, you should ask how old she was when this happened and how long ago she had reached menarche

I'll maybe try and go into work a bit later tomorrow morning so I can have a good talk to a doctor on the phone. I work in Accessorize and we don't get busy til like 11 so it should be fine

You had that before you even reached menarche? i.e. before you even began having your periods? Thats odd.
