Please can some one workout the interview score for me as I need to check wheher I was eligible for interview offer, if I had applied in 2020 entry

Predicted A Levels AAA (Bio/Chem/Maths)
GCSEs 887766BBB
UCAT 2575 SJT= Band 2

Do they accept English Language resits?

How they give score for GCSEs
8 = 3.75 or 3
whats are the scores for grade
7 =?
6 =?
B= ?

What was the interview invite cutoff score for 2020 entry?

Have you read this thread. All the information is probably in it? HYMS are not particularly transparent how they score applicants so nobody knows for sure. They do score your top 8 GCCE’s so I’d be wary of applying.

They score 8 GCSEs out of 30 although do not state how. The UCAT is scored out of 40 so either use fixed brackets e.g. 3200-3100, 3099-3000, etc. Or based on the deciles released by the UCAT body. They score SJ component out of 15, and offer 15 more points for contextual data.

No, she is a doctor (or training to be a doctor?) who kindly gives her time and helps out aspiring medical students choose which medical school they should apply to :smile:

I am a medically qualified dinosaur who has been advising about med admissions for quite a few years now

You should hopefully get an interview. Offers depend primarily on interview performance, though your B1 will help

Roughly what kind of overall score are you looking at for an offer? I mean after GCSE's, UCAT and SJT is taken into account.
