I got a score of 47 And it is my absolute dream to go Nottingham. Do I have a chance????
Hi just started a Notts med school first day today and its an amazing campus really friendly city with excellent transport links. Last year you would have received an interview on 47. I scored 46 and this felt like the cut off score for non contextual. No one knows if this year the cut off will be higher or not but its your decision at the end of the day good luck with your application!
... What are the chances to get into nottingham if i place it as my first choice?
This is the dedicated thread for Nottingham queries, please post in here for future Qs about this medical school.
Just to answer this particular question, the university won't know whether you have picked them as "first choice", "second choice" etc. By applying you expressed an equal preference to all four medical schools.
If you're lucky enough to get four offers, then you get to choose your firm and insurance. Some med schools may give a lower offer then, but not before.
Hi, how do i check my scoring for nottingham with contextual?
I'm not 100% sure but to find out if you are contextual see previous posts or head to Nottinghams website where you can check (post code or criteria) @pericardium can you help here on the process?
Hi does anyone know the entry requirements for graduates interesting in applying for UG course (Nottingham based) with a first class degree? In terms of GCSE A levels & UCAT score Thanks in advance

From their web site, you need to contact them....
2:1 degree in any subject plus the A-Level entry requirements. You may also consider applying for our Graduate Entry Medicine course as this is specifically aimed at graduates of other disciplines.
If you have achieved a PhD, Masters or a First in a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, you may not have to meet the A-Level or GCSE entry requirements. For more information on which degrees are relevant, please contact the Student Recruitment Support Hub.
You must be in your final year or have completed your degree before applying.

Thank you 😊 I have emailed them but haven’t had a response yet! Does Nottingham score your personal statement for interviews?
I've just finished my UCAT, VR: 600; DM:700; QR: 610; AR: 720; Band 2. I also have a 1st BSc in Biology and will have an MSc from Oxford. I'm an international student so I'm not sure if that changes things but any ideas on the likelihood of receiving an interview from Nottingham for the A100 course?

You need to contact them and ask how they score internationals.
Hi guys what dates are the interview this year? Thanks in advance 😊
Nottingham didn't give specific advanced dates but they were held in December and January. Things maybe different this year in terms of how or where they are held so best to keep up to date with their website.
Hi, I was looking into how Notts do their first stage of admission before they call into interview and I saw it was points based out of 56. My score was 47, would that be good enough to secure an interview if I apply, providing my ps is good?
