Hi, has anyone else decided to firm their uni offers last minute on the 18th of june? Cause I did and now I missed the deadline for guaranteed accommodation and I´m stressing out. I firmed Kings college ldn and birmingham is my insurance, but the price of accommodation is huge in london and I was wondering if anyone knows good student accommodation places in london or if they have experience missing this deadline and then know the likelihood of me having a kcl accommodation?

Hi Alvaro, Congratulations on securing your seat! London has a wide selection of accommodation options available in all price ranges. Determining your budget would narrow the options down for you. Certain aspects such as distance from the city center and the quality of accommodation will influence your option pool. However, it should be noted that tube networks make it extremely easy to get in and out of the city quickly. Londoners mostly live in zones 3+ and travel in to the city.
You can check out our accommodation, Mannequin House. We opened just 3 years ago and have good quality private ensuites and studios available from £199 / week including bills. We are also just 18 mins way from Oxford Circus. Take a look at our Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/srmannequinhouse/ to see what the experience of living at Mannequin House would feel like and visit our website for more details.

Hi, i've also missed the deadline for king's accommodation and i'm stressing! I emailed to ask if there was a chance i'd be able to get a room and they pretty much said nope and that I should start looking at other options, so that's what i'm doing today, lol. I really want the halls atmosphere so i'm looking at private halls and there seems to be some cheap ones but lots have very mixed reviews so I don't know what to believe aaaaa. Good luck!

I also missed the deadline because I applied through UCAS extra and have had the same problem. originally the intercollegiate halls were completely booked up to but I checked today and UoL have more spaces in some of their halls! I've just applied through them because the KCL accommodation portal wasn't working and kept crashing so maybe try UoL as well

If anyone is still looking for accommodation, I'm looking for someone to take over my contract for the next academic year.

It's for a one bedroom ensuite room with a shared kitchen in student halls, in Tottenham hale north London. It's £205pw , which is a reasonable price considering he contract includes bills, wifi, common room, study room etc. Also only takes 15 minutes to get to zone 1 via underground.

Message me if interested!

Are there private halls with rooms as cheap £170/week? I can't afford anything more than this. I really wish I could have been looking at the £200/week price tags but I guess times are hard.
