I got £20 from my parents for my GCSE results For my AS results I didn't get anything, lol!

I don't understand why people are getting like computers etc... Maybe if it were your university graduation or something but not GCSEs!

I know. Some people on here get more for their GCSEs than they would at their wedding.

No, i agree, I have a mac desktop at home and it is soooo much better than my other comps (death to dell, lol), they are more reliable, hardly ever get viruses and generally emit rays of coolness!
I thought that, then I remembered that a Mac that gives around half of the performance of my current PC costs the same.

Which is wrong :yep: I think parents should buy their children more things that will support their education further, like if they did really well; why not buy them revision guide, tutor them for A-levels, buy them better school things, you know...

I did mine last year so I got the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book got it before my results came out, mind, but if I'd done really badly, they would have taken it back off me again.

I didn't know people were this rich.
    I feel rather naive.

I'm proud of my results :yep: and that's enough for me really

I do remember a friend gave me a few hob nobs and someone threw a party popper at me before screaming "Smartie party!"

My dad got me a Thornton's toffee cake, my grandma gave me £10 and my other grandma's brother and his wife sent me a bunch of flowers. Wouldn't dream of asking for more for my results.

I was given 1 minute outside the cellar for each A*, and 30 seconds for each A. Anything below an A earned me a beating with the belt, though.
