From my standpoint as a real conservative when looking back on the last 70 years it disgusts me that the “conservative” party has failed at their basic job to conserve they have time and again failed to conserve morality, values, institutions and have time and again flipped on issues which are promoted by the leftwing party’s.

If you could give me even one example of something they have conserved that would be better than having my current view on them being that they have failed as a party.

Tbh the grip Labour has on local councils of working class towns such as mine is disgusting. Corruption at its finest. My councillor blatently shares his sexual fantasies on twitter and posts pictures of him with local gangsters while doing **** all to help the town.

Well based on the last election, it's because Labour was seen as took weak and disastrous for the country.
We haven't really had a strong labour leader since Gordon Brown.

Because the only available alternative are socialists, and voting for socialists generally backfires with higher taxes, everything getting more expensive, and fewer jobs available.

To evolve as a country, and in part help evolve the world, certain policies have to be adopted from both sides of the table. Not all right wing ideologies are bad just like not all left wing ideologies are bad.

Don't worry, it is going the way.

As Karl Marx said, all you have to do to introduce communism, is to introduce democracy.

Other than a suspicion of the new and revolutionary, the Conservatives are broadly liberal supporters of market capitalism. The problem is that the Labour Party aren't far away from outside of their fringes and neither are the Lib Dems. There's been a broad consensus on a lot of things (broken by Jeremy Corbyn but seemingly restored by his successor). However it's often the Conservative Party that's actually supporting the ideology rather than the others, who try to speak in the language of the left rather than make a case for the centre-ground.

The Union. They stopped Corbyn from making a deal with the devil (SNP) and selling out the UK.
