Birth control pill and effectiveness impact due to hot weather

During the current weather and temperature being over 30 degrees (celsius) outside and often indoors, how likely is this going to affect the effectiveness of birth control pills?

Since leaflet mentions that pills should be stored under 25 degrees (celsius) and, in my case, it is rather difficult to achieve this due to lack of a/c at home. Thus, storage requirements are not satisfied.

It might cause them to be less effective, you're right. If they've just been left out in high heat (just 30C might still be OK?), it might be worth asking your pharmacist for advice (I find that if you just go to the pharmacy, the pharmacist is usually really happy to help, and then if you need to bin them you can get told the quickest way to get more). For the moment, best to keep taking them as normal, although you might want to avoid unprotected PIV sex until you've talked to your pharmacist/another health professional.

You could always try keeping them in the fridge??
