How many distinctions do you need to get a DDD*?

On an Extended Diploma Level 3?

I personally did Health and Social care Extended Diploma Level 3 and achieved D*D*D*, only 2 units I didn't get a distinction and got pass and merit instead. I think you are allowed 3 units not of distinction value depending on the credit value of that unit but that varies depending on whether you achieve merit or pass.

Check course info about the credit value of the units as this tells you how much they count towards final grade. Focus on getting good grades in the units that are worth more credits.
