Hey everyone, I've been allocated to 35 Lyddon Terrace.
Has anyone else on here has been put in one of the smaller residences?

What are you guys studying? I'm doing Physics.
I'm looking forward to moving in too, although I was unsure when I first saw my allocation due to the lack of specific information.

but I don't understand, if we are on the same road and it's all Ellerslie hall there, does it mean you are in Ellerslie? cos my ex used to live where you will live, and that was an Ellerslie hall annex..
by the way, me chinese and japanese! I can't wait to move in either, I will come to Leeds a week earlier to stay with a friend of mine until the 20th, awesome!

I'm doing an MA (sorry, I'm semi-ancient and all that ) in Disability Studies - it's a specialism of Sociology and Social Policy.

I think the smaller residences are lovely! Yeah, there's not a lot of info available on them - but I've visited mine, and it's just like a slightly bigger version of the flats you get in each hall, only *much* closer to campus. :woo:

I don't think I'm in Ellerslie because I'm self catered and when I rang the accom office I spoke to the Smaller Residences manager.
I'm really pleased with my house (now I know the facilities) as there are 3 kitchens, 3 showers and 3 toilets between 8 of us so thats 2.333 per loo/kitchen. Not bad for just over £80 a week.
I'm going to get my key on the 17th and I'm moving in gradually from Wed-Friday, one of the benefits of living between Leeds and Wakefield!

I agree - that's about as good as it gets without being ensuite! I'm particulary delighted to have a big kitchen shared between only a few people. Space, hurray! :woo:
