Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice please on the application process for a masters programme. I am looking at doing MSc Clinical Psychology. Is the application process similar to undergrad? i.e. do you have to write personal statements and get references? Do you have any other tips? Thank you

Yes & No.
Postgrad changes in a couple different ways.
1) Application dates, most unis are much more flexible both in terms of how early & how late you can apply, although competitive courses will fill up.
2) Where you apply, direct to the individual universities (every uni has their own application portal for postgrad)
3) what's involved, each application can be changed by the individual universities, most ask for Undergrad course, modules and grades (and final grade prediction). Some admin information, 2 references (for masters sometimes they only need 1), and a personal statement (with the PS they are also more flexible on length).

You will have to apply to each university separately - there is no UCAS. Each uni will have a slightly different application form but cover off:
- your academic results
- reasons why you want to study this topic
- reasons why you have selected that uni
- references

Your referees will have a big say since the uni does not want to take on someone who may not be able to cope academically with the masters programme.
