Marjon primary teaching (with QTS) )interview

Hi,
I have an interview soon for Primary teaching at Marjon and I need to choose a subject that i am interested in to teach however, i have no idea what to choose. I was wondering whether anyone had any good ideas of what to teach, in the ten minute time they give you?
I also was wondering if anyone could give any advice on how the interview process is?
Like what they ask you and how much of the curriculum i need to know?
Any other advice anyone has would be amazing.

Maths lessons could be good for a quick interview lesson and one lesson that you could give could be about place value and rounding. I think by Year 4 they need to be able to round any number to the nearest 10s, 100s or 1000s so your lesson could be based on that. Questions will be about why you want to be a teacher, what you think makes a good teacher and some challenges you may face as a teacher.
