    Hi guys,

I got 6 A*s, 2 A's and 3 B's in my GCSEs, which I was ecstatic about. The only grade I wasn't happy with was my Art grade which I got a B in. The thing is, I was predicted an A and I got As for all three pieces of coursework. The exam is marked 60% coursework and 40% final exam, and I thought I did well on my final exam seeing as I did so much prep work for it and for the first time in two years, my tight-arse teacher was actually really complimentary and enthusiastic about my work.

I don't know, should I appeal for a re-mark or something? I know that a lot of people are going to tell me that a B is a great grade anyway, or that it's only Art, but design is the field that I want to pursue as a career and I've worked so hard for the last two years. Also, if I did want to appeal, exactly who do I talk to and what do I do?

Hmm, I'd say yeah, get a remark,
because I didn't do any prep work and my coursework was absolute rubish as it was so rushed and i got an A
So it's hard to believe someone who actualy did do their work didn't.
    Request a remark.

It's worth a remark, you need to talk to your school/teacher.

Thank you. Impressionism mainly consists of painting so maybe using different media would have raised more marks?

Yeah I know, I didn't want to do the typical painting so I did a 3D piece instead.

I did loads of mind maps and even though my teacher told me that we didn't need that many notes I always made sure to annotate every page with detailed notes.
