Yes it is, I've just completed year 12 and it's the subject I have to put the most work in to understand content. Nevertheless, it is rather enjoyable and works well alongside maths.

Revise the Chapters from GCSE on Moments and Electricity as you don't want to forget them. Also if you familiarise yourself with the AS specification it will give you a head start.

I'd say just go over and really embed your GCSE content (don't go full out revision - it's your summer after all) but look over your notes every few weeks etc.
Perhaps look at seneca learning's a-level physics course (I used seneca for my GCSE revision) and see if there are any new concepts you might be able to understand but don't worry too much. I didn't do any physics revision over the summer as I only took when I enrolled into college as I wasn't set on my third a-level. Enjoy this time off as a-levels can be stressful and I wish I didn't have anything to do again!
