Does it matter what I eat as long as I am in a calorie deficit?

Before you answer please be aware I know 100% that eating McDonald’s and cake every day would not be healthy! I would never do this
I’d just like to know if it’s true, if you ate whatever you want for say 1500 calories a day - would you lose weight?

Yes, but you wouldn't be healthy if you didn't get the correct nutrition from what you ate. Go for balanced meals.

Yes. But balanced, health meals not only actually keep you healthy internally, but stop you feeling **** too.

Losing weight= calorie deficit irrespective of what you eat.

Eating healthily has health benefits though, it also supports a diet by filling you up as well.

Yeah but not as fast as you would if you threw exercise into it. But you would lose weight.

I regularly eat about 800-1000 calories a day but in just sweet food and general rubbish. I still lose weight.
