Didn't Ronaldo just buy one for £150,000 and it only said CR7. Madness!

Indeed....

Well, my dad bought one for my mum's birthday, and believe it or not he found it in the local paper...

Or you can try these:

http://www.no1showplates.co.uk/index_new.php

http://www.regtransfers.co.uk/

http://www.theprivateplatecompany.co.uk/

Hope that helps!

ok... i was asking why somebody would spend over £1000 (maybe not him but they are generally a rip off) to have your name or initials on your number plate. yeah it's his choice what ever.
I don't really see why people want personalised number plates...it's a bit pointless really.
Anyway, nah, I don't know where you can get them from.

A businessman in dubai paid 14 million USD for "1" a few days ago.
Just Plain Bob.

And you think if you paid 150k you could have a plate that gave your life history?
I've got one and I think it's tacky...
I can't be fussed getting rid of it, but next time I change car I won't be carrying it over.

(Dad bought it and changed it all as a present but they looks stupid enough on a posh car let alone on a £500 1996 Ibiza)

there is someone on the forum with 'H4 WTF' which i think is funny :p:

erm, i wouldn't bother. waste of money tbh.

plus, my parents have a standard XX01 XXX plate which ends in 'CNY'... my moms initials are Y N and mine and my dads are C N... so we didn't have to pay anything to have our initials on the car! ha.

mate if ur gonna buy one, buy it from the dvla website as this is the cheapest. Any other sites make their money by buying from the dvla. So cut out the middle man and buy straight from dvla!

Alot of the other sites dont include the fee to transfer onto a car, thats £80 i think on top of the plate cost. Usually the DVLA is the cheapest as everything is included.
