Keble College

Hello,

Anyone else applying to Keble College? I'm hoping to read PPE starting next year. As an international student, I wasn't able to make it to the college for my interview, and I have a couple questions. What's the college like? How many people are applying there? Anyone know how many PPE students specifically for how many spots? IS IT AS GREAT AS IT LOOKS??

Just make sure you don't catch mumps when you go there. :smile:

Although I don't go to Keble, i regularly visit my sister there. It's known as one of the more lively colleges, so you should love the people there. It terms of looks, some people like the red/yellow brick buildings, some people don't - you'll have to see it yourself.
And I think they have the highest percentage of state school students.

Oh, and they're open-mic nights are amazing. :wink:

yea, the accomodation is the really good too. I'm guessing you stayed in Liddon/Pusey. Did you see Gerard the legend in Hall?

The staff and students I met at Keble were all nice, friendly, welcoming and knew *exactly* what they were talking about. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and feel Keble is a lovely college!

I applied for Law and was hanging out with lots of History applicants - our interviews were the same couple of days :smile:

I could usually be found with a large group winning vast amounts of cash from the "Who wants to be a millionaire" machine in the JCR.... Happy days :smile:

. I might have met some of you too, especially if you came out with us on one of the nights or ventured down to the bar when there were people there. And yes names, tell me yours too because I may have met you.

Dreama i remember lots of people hanging round that machine! it was THE place to be!!

Erm the helpers were erm nice? dont know really didnt have much to do with you :P Was going to go to the cinema one night, but stayed in the watch love actually instead, what a film! :smile:

I had an engineering interview at keble which didnt go too badly...

Keble is soooo the nicest college, and the rooms apparently are amazing. Kebles got loads of spare cash I hear from all the conference facilities etc

Well my name isn't Morgan so you may have all seen me :tongue:

, I'm going to remain secretive about who I was though. I think I stayed to watch a bit of Love Actually, and then we went out. I met most of the engineers I think and a couple of Law girls, ended up knowing more of the scientists than the arts guys.

Who were the best and worst helpers :tongue:
