As a gcse student . I’m currently doing. Online law courses on coursera in the hope of doing law at uni. If I choose the free version, which means I don’t get a certificate. Will I be able to use it on my cv / in interviews/ personal statement?

Yes as it shows you have an interest in the subject and are going beyond what you are taught in school. Not sure if you can use it on your CV (someone else on here will probably be able to guide you on this) but you can definitely include it on your personal statements, which could lead to interviewers asking you about it in interviews. Hope this helps

I was under the assumption that you couldn't put it on your CV (there is no proof of you having done it and it is very easy to say you did it), but as the above has said you could probably mention it in interviews. It's just a hard thing to prove you have done it as you have no physical proof
