I am taking maths, further maths, chemistry and computer science for a level. I have been told that some of the A level physics course crosses over with Further maths mechanics module. As I am not taking physics but I have a lot of summer left , so which areas of a level physics should I try to look into and understand in order to be more prepared for further maths?

I wouldn't bother. If you want to prepare for further mechanics, you can just prepare directly for further mechanics. It doesn't make sense to do physics in preparation.
