How rich do you think I am? 😂 I current have £80 in my bank account until I find a job...

the gift I was thinking was like a card and chocolate/alcohol.
I'd advise being careful with alcohol as a lot of academics are tee-total/being found with alcohol on university premises can result in pretty severe punishments.

So I'm coming to the end of my MSc dissertation project I've been working full-time on since early April and shall be for another 5 ish weeks.

My supervisor has been really supportive and helpful throughout and given loads of encouragement to pursue a PhD after all this is over.

Would it be weird to get them a thank-you gift of some sort?
No. I got mine dinner with my family. Lol.

Now I personally would find that a tad too far 😂 I can’t really think of a more awkward situation.

We had a really nice time, actually. I realise it's quite abnormal, though, as we were especially close.
