Should I prepare for potentially retaking my GCSE's?

If I'm not satisfied with the calculated grades I get I August, I have the option to re-take the exams in September. I find it ridiculous that they expect us to sit GCSE's of subjects we haven't learnt in over 3 months but should I revise for these anyway?

In most cases I'd advise against it - perhaps Maths and/or English Language but probably not much else. The re-sits won't be until November and in general you'd be better off concentrating on your A level subjects
