    hey guys,
Im applying to do Sports Science next year as a mature student, Will be 23 in sept 2009. Im doing 2 full A levels distance learning courses Human Biology and Psychology and hope to achieve A's
    My choice uni's are
    Nottingham Trent 180 ucas
    Coventry 140 ucas
As i never attended college after school I have no other A levels so two A's would give me 140 points.
My question is, is there a chance Trent will give me an offer even though its not possible to get the other 40 points.
I am a personal trainer at the minute so have NVQ lvl 3's but I dont think I can get points for them.
    Any advise?

Email or better still ring up the admissions tutors for the courses. Just be honest about your situation etc and see if they would give you an offer based on qualifications already held (if any) and qualifications pending.

You may be surprised or shocked, either way you will know what needs to be done.

    Good luck

2 As gives you 240 points. 120 points each. For nottingham trent you therefore need a B and a C
