Chances of rabies? (bitten in SE Asia in December)

I was nipped by an apparently 'domestic' cat whilst in the Philippines in December.

I went to the local island hospital and they shrugged it off saying the skin wasn't penetrated enough to warrant post exposure jabs. They told me to watch the cat for 10 days.

I think the cat seemed OK?

I've been having uncomfortable breathing for a while since then and worried I may have rabies? What are the chances?

After so long I think you're fine. Check with your GP if you're concerned.
