Im thinking about going to college to do a l3 extended diploma in performing arts, and I've been told this would probably cause me to loose any chance of getting into any university course that isn't performing arts/drama. Before I deffinetly choose to do a college course instead of alevels, how badly could my future be affected because if acting doesn't work out I would hate to just have an office job

University is essential for some careers so it really depends on where you see yourself in the future... A degree is helpful because it shows that you can work to a certain level which will help you in any career field, and therefore will open a lot of doors for you. However however it does cost a lot of money and if you don’t think it’s for you it might not be worthwhile
