Distance Law degree - university of essex

Hey all,
Has anyone used or looking at using Essex university online? They do a law and criminology degree that is fully accredited over 4 years whilst distance learning. I have been looking around but have been unable to find anything similar anywhere else. Just want to know how difficult it is to do law whilst distance learning. I plan to continue working full time due to money constraints. At the moment I plan to follow the met police detective route following the degree.
