I got a B at maths Gcse which tbh is quite good considering i had a teacher who gave us a book and said get on with it.

This was in 2007(so my maths skills are a bit rusty) but i was wondering if i took maths at AS this year and i had a tutor would i have a chance of getting a C?

Maybe better if you tried harder.
Maths AS usualy requires you to get a B in GCSE.

I'm not so sure. I taught myself GCSE maths and got an A. First time I did AS maths I got a U. Then a C and now it's a B. It's a HUGE gap between GCSE and AS!

Anything is possible if you put the effort in, though I would say that if your not confident in maths dont bother taking it
