My brother managed EEU, or was it EUU?! It hasn't exactly been mentioned much! The bizarrest thing is that he had to do coursework for two of his subjects, and got A and B in those modules. We used to sit in the car going to school with his friend, who would test him on the stuff and my brother actually knew it. Could answer all the questions right etc. But completely failed the exams even though he revised.

Everything can fall to bits in exams...it did for me. But I got CCC not great...but it got me into uni.

I got UUUB...

I needed to fail physics, maths and chemistry so i wouldnt have to do them next year...
Although i did mean to get E's... Bugger. I failed too Well...

Although B in music tech where i did some work was nice...

Nope, but I know someone who came into the exam, sat down and wrote out a full essay for it.

Got zero marks.

I don't think any uni would take you! Except Thames Valley.. haha.

You can still get into top unis with UUU if you have a fantastic personal statement and a fantastic reference.

Just make sure whoever writes your reference doesn't know you have UUU.

you're all such snobs. seriously, look at all the great people in our planets history. how many of those had 10 A* at GCSE. you're all too caught up in something that isn't that important in the grand scheme of things. open your eyes abit

I agree

Something vaguely similar happened to me. Got a U for one history module; it was the one thing (out of literally every module of every subject) I revised for. I went to every class, every revision sesh; I even went to extra exam practise for it.
I'm not stupuid, I got 100% in one history AS module, but for this module...I got a U?

I've never had anything near a U in my life, still in shock tbh. Brought my history grade to a C which is depressing enough.

Though tbh our whole class pretty much got E's or U's.

i know a boy who got uu

Yeah know someone who got UUU in their AS levels, but apparently they didn't put any effort it.

No you can't

Yes you can. I know someone who got into Cambridge with UUU and an EXCELLENT personal statement and a brilliant reference. She also did lots of EC's.

Ok. It was only a joke.

My boyfriend got EEUU at AS level, but managed to improve by one or two grades mainly at A2 level, and is going to university. He's dyslexic though, and I've noticed he has an extremely low attention span. He just found exams difficult, he'd always get Bs in coursework. No snobbery from my part though, I somehow managed AAAB at AS level and he's probably more intelligent than me (he's amazing at guitar, drums and piano, knows god knows how many programming languages and can build computers from scratch), he just wasn't good at a-level exams. He did well at GCSE.

**** happens eh? The A-level system isn't for everyone.

One of my good friends got UUUU at AS. I'm sure there are plenty more in my year, but I'm in the smart crew

Same with one of my politics units. Everyone got Es or Us. They've sacked the teacher who taught us that unit, which is a shame, we all liked him :frown:

She got into Cambridge? Sexual favour or two?

3 is the magic number in this scenario.
