Same with one of my politics units. Everyone got Es or Us. They've sacked the teacher who taught us that unit, which is a shame, we all liked him :frown:

God they need to fire my history teacher! Unlike your Politics teacher we all hate ours :mad:

there's no way someone who puts a ''genuine effort'' into their exams get UUU. They are deluded and might have good intentions but don't put in any effort. I mean even the dumbest of chavs I see in my school at least get E's or F's. :rolleyes:

Not really, I didn't revise once and got BCD (last year, though). Not revising doesn't necessarily mean you'll do poorly (my results were good by my standards as I did minimal work, no revision and went to every exam looking like I was on drugs... leading my teachers to ask me if I was, good times!).

But yeah my mate in AS got UUU, felt sorry for her but she didn't particularly care.

Not necessarily. That's a bit of a harsh judgement, in my opinion. A friend of mine tried really hard for her GCSEs and all she needed to get into college was 2 E's. She ended up with a couple of F's and a handful of G's. I'm not saying that everyone who gets U's tries hard but I know that a lot of people do and it isn't necessarily someone's fault if they don't pass a qualification. x

There were a couple of Us at AS in my year, but I don't think anyone got straight U's. One of my friends got BBUU, which is quite odd.

Surely someone getting UUU at A2 would have noticed a bit of a problem somewhere along the line? If you were getting Es at AS, then you would know that realistically you probably wouldn't be able to cope with the A2, and if you were getting A/B/C, then how can you fall so far? If there were issues, wouldn't you know through assignments, or just generally in class?

yh but u 4gtin not evrythin cums up in exams... u may jus end up revisin certain areas of a topic... if it cums up u got the paper on smash, if not well ders always resits.

also nerves play alottt.... my biology a2 exam i was nufff nervous so all my revision went out my head and i was actually writing bulll****t, still managed an A tho- god mustav set me up wit a happy examiner! :smile:

I know someone who got an EEU but that's the worst I know of. She's not doing too badly now though, although hasn't settled down to any one job yet.

Does anyone know somebody who got UUU! ?
