you're all such snobs. seriously, look at all the great people in our planets history. how many of those had 10 A* at GCSE. you're all too caught up in something that isn't that important in the grand scheme of things. open your eyes abit

I don't think Einstein was working at GCSE Physics level; had he taken the exam, on the other hand...

The good and the great of today must rise up through the system, unfortunately.

lol yee
3 people in my year did, it's what you get for not revising

Hmmm... I'm fairly sure it's not down to only not revising - I'm pretty sure that without any revision a D or even a C is reasonably possible.

Reply 84

Yep, i know 5 people who did. And some of them worked really hard as well :frown:

I know someone who thought he did, but added them up again and it turned out to be EUUU. He didn't try in the exams.

He's going to do some kind of performing arts course at college next year..

Someone at my bro's school got UUUC at A2 (the C was in General Studies) a few years ago. The rumour was that he did it to mess the league tables up as the school is quite a well respected public school!!

His parent's were non too happy after paying thousands for his education!!! My dad's warning to my brother was if he did the same, he would ask for my brother to pay him back all the money that went on his fees!

My friend's brother told me that he had a friend who got UUU in his first year, he retook the year and after A2 he came out with AAA. Goes to show anything is possible with hard work.

I know a girl who failed all of her AS subjects (Maths, Biology, Geology and Psychology). She left to do childcare at another college. Nice girl though.

One mate got a 'DUD', the others now 'DED'.
