I know someone who got UUUU at AS, but they just didn't care about A-levels at all- they wrote 2 lines in their Philosophy exam, and then just left as soon as they could. I don't know why they don't try at all, because they have the potential for so much higher.

Yes, my friend got UUUE and i know so many people that got U grades....but then again i know for a fact they didn't put in the effort.

I know someone who got EEE at A level, I don't know anyone who failed everything though. But my brother's friend failed all his GCSEs.

I know someone who had 100% attendance, worked her arse off, and got BCEE at AS :colone:

She then decided to drop the AS level she got a B in, and carry on with CEE to A2.

True story.

Just wondering as my friend managed to get UUU ( How I don't know) An he did actually attempt his exams...does anyone know anyone who made a genuine effort but still got the terible 3?

I know someone who got 3 Us and an E. How does someone try and get those grades, really? If you 'try' and get 3 Us, does that not suggest that you should not be at sixth form/college?

Yeah, a friend got EUUU in his AS-levels the first time round and it was really unfortunate because he's a really clever guy who just couldn't get the exam technique right. He treated it as a wake-up call, put in for resits on all 8 exams he took that year and finished his A-levels with BCC I think it was. Considering the jump in grades I was really proud of him. If he didn't have to resit I think he could have come out with better grades, but he's happy and at uni now so that's all that matters.

Bad grades =/= stupid.
