Are GCSE Results going to be sent by post/email?
A lot of sixth forms/ colleges allow students to go and register the same day as results day, will we have to contact them via phone or email this year?

It depends on the school, I've heard people say they have to go in for their results, and people who are just getting them via email.
I would contact your school for clarification And again, maybe check with your prospective school for what to do on results day!

Thank you! I'll ask them.
